Candace N. Ford is a storyteller at heart with a lifelong love affair with words. Long before balance sheets and boardrooms, she was a wide-eyed reader with a vivid imagination, drawn to stories of adventure, suspense, faith, and victory. Writing wasn’t a hobby—it was a calling waiting patiently for its moment.

That moment arrived in 2011 with the self-publication of her first book, Committed 2 Commune, a collection of encouraging reflections for women that began as personal writings years earlier. The process was anything but simple, but the experience ignited something even bigger: a passion not only to write, but to help others bring their words into the world.

Since then, Candace has authored more than eleven books, blending encouragement, faith, and practical wisdom with a voice that feels like a conversation with a trusted friend. In 2017 she made a smooth transition into writing fiction novels, birthing The Lady Cunningham Chronicles, a three part series with the third being published late 2026.

When Candace is not writing, mentoring, or building creative platforms, she can be found dreaming up new ideas and living life with her husband and children in McKinney, Texas—still guided by that same imagination that first made her fall in love with stories
